Before you start

PaceMotive is a general-purpose workout timer. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, personal training, or emergency monitoring. If you are unsure whether an activity is appropriate for you, consult a qualified health-care or fitness professional.

Use your own judgment

Choose exercises, duration, intensity, loads, equipment, space, and supervision appropriate for your experience and condition. Inspect equipment and your training area. Learn proper technique before adding speed or load, and use a spotter or qualified coach when appropriate.

Stop when something is wrong

Stop exercising if you feel pain, dizziness, breathing difficulty, faintness, or another concerning symptom. Seek appropriate medical help. For an emergency, contact local emergency services; do not rely on PaceMotive.

Timers and devices can fail

Browser tabs can sleep, audio can be muted, screens can lock, batteries can run out, and software can be delayed or interrupted. Confirm the displayed state before acting. Do not use PaceMotive for medication, medical procedures, rescue, industrial work, or any other safety-critical timing.

Preset and shared workouts

A listed or shared workout is an example, not a recommendation tailored to you. PaceMotive does not verify user-created workout content. Scale, substitute, skip, or stop any session as needed.

Assumption of risk

By using PaceMotive, you accept the ordinary and unexpected risks associated with your chosen physical activity and remain responsible for your decisions. The site terms also apply.
