1. What PaceMotive provides
PaceMotive is the product and brand name of Pace Motive, a registered Ontario sole proprietorship and the supplier and operator of this service. PaceMotive provides browser-based workout timers, preset sessions, local saves, shareable workout links, and optional offline web-app features. PaceMotive Free does not require an account. Basic Pro adds an account, cloud-saved workout programs, cross-device access, and completed workout history.
2. Basic Pro Early Access
Basic Pro Early Access is a working subscription that is still improving. Features can change, fail, or be removed, and access may be paused for maintenance, security, misuse, or legal reasons. Keep an export of anything important. If we end the service, we will give reasonable notice and an export opportunity when practical, unless an urgent security or legal issue prevents it.
A limited feedback test may provide Basic Pro access free of charge in exchange for using your own workout twice within seven days and sharing honest feedback. A free tester account does not require a card, does not create a Stripe subscription, and may be closed to new participants when the current test is full. Feedback does not have to be positive.
The Early Access subscription is CA$1.99 CAD per month plus applicable tax and renews automatically each month until canceled. Stripe shows the actual total before payment and hosts checkout and subscription management. You can cancel at any time without a cancellation fee; cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period and access continues until then.
We will refund the first monthly subscription payment when you request it within seven calendar days after the first successful charge. We also refund duplicate charges, unauthorized charges, and charges caused by a confirmed technical error. After that seven-day first-payment period, monthly fees are normally non-refundable and we do not provide partial-period refunds, except where required by law. Request help at support@pacemotive.com.
Full personal Pro is planned at CA$5.99 CAD per month after Early Access. That future price is not guaranteed. We will give active subscribers at least 30 days’ notice before a price change and explain how to cancel before it takes effect.
3. Your account
Use an email address you control, choose a strong password, keep sign-in details private, and notify support if you believe your account is compromised. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.
Basic Pro is for your own training. Trainer and client-management tools are not available. Do not use a personal account to store another person's workout history or put diagnoses, medical records, or other sensitive information in workout titles or exercise names. If you are not legally able to agree to these terms where you live, do not create an account unless a parent or guardian agrees for you.
4. Fitness and safety
PaceMotive is a general timing and logging tool, not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, personal training, or emergency monitoring. You are responsible for choosing appropriate activities, loads, surroundings, and supervision. Read the fitness disclaimer before training.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, bypass limits or security, attempt unauthorized access, probe another account, introduce harmful code, upload or share unlawful or harmful material, impersonate another person, or use automated traffic that burdens the service. We may restrict access reasonably needed to protect PaceMotive and its users.
6. Workout content and shared links
You are responsible for workout content you create and links you distribute. Anyone with a workout link may be able to see the title, timing, equipment, exercises, planned reps, and planned starting weights encoded in it. Completed results are not included in a plan link. Check a link before sharing and do not put confidential, personal, or sensitive information in it.
You keep your rights in original workout text you create and give PaceMotive permission to host, copy, display, and process it only as needed to provide, secure, back up, and support the service.
7. Limits, availability, and backups
Free currently allows up to five saved workouts in one browser. Basic Pro Early Access currently allows up to 25 cloud-saved workouts; reaching a limit blocks only new saves and does not delete existing workouts or history. Reasonable technical and abuse-prevention limits may apply.
We aim for a reliable timer but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Browser sleep, audio permissions, screen locking, batteries, networks, and software updates can affect timing, sound, saving, and offline sync. Backups support disaster recovery but are not a substitute for your own export.
8. Ownership
PaceMotive's software, site design, branding, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer PaceMotive ownership to you or your original workout content to PaceMotive.
9. No warranties
To the extent permitted by law, PaceMotive is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so they may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, PaceMotive is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of or inability to use the service, including lost workout data or missed timer alerts. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Privacy, suspension, and account deletion
Our privacy policy explains current data practices and retention. You can export your account or permanently delete its active cloud data from Account settings. We may suspend access for security, legal requirements, or serious/repeated misuse; when practical, we will explain the reason and preserve access to export or deletion controls.
12. Law, contact, and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada, without limiting consumer rights that must apply where you live. Pace Motive is the legal service supplier. Questions can be sent to support@pacemotive.com.
We may update these terms as PaceMotive changes. We will post the new date and explain material changes. If a change materially affects an account or paid service, we will provide notice appropriate to the change and ask for fresh agreement when required.
