The simple version

How to run an AMRAP.

The countdown stays simple. Your job is to move consistently, keep the exercise order clear, and know where you finished.

    Use a short sequence with rep targets you can repeat without letting technique unravel.

    Choose the total duration, begin at the start signal, and cycle through the exercises in order.

    Count every complete circuit, then add the reps finished in the partial round when time expires.

Start below your limit

The opening minutes should feel controlled. A pace that immediately forces sloppy reps is unlikely to hold together.

Write the circuit where you can see it and arrange equipment to reduce confusion without creating a trip hazard.

Rest when you need to

Short planned pauses can protect technique and make the full session more consistent. AMRAP does not have to mean nonstop.
